Why are the above images examples of poor 3D? Well for several reasons. Firstly, they have liitle depth and there is no real distance between the foreground and background. There is a weak separation between the stereo pairs. All objects have little sense of space between them even though they sit correctly in relation to the stereo window. All objects have a look of flatness to them and you don't feel as though you could walk into the scene. For me, this fails in all the fundamental elements of good 3D and I would like to see this type of poor 3D disappear from all future 3D movies and 3D productions.
